About this Product
The Lumenier QAV-PRO Whoop Cinequads Edition Kit is a versatile 5-inch caged FPV quadcopter designed to be durable and agile while offering full propeller protection. This X8 kit is equipped with durable carbon fiber and aluminum components, providing complete propeller safeguarding. It is specifically designed to accommodate your cinema camera, such as the Blackmagic Cinema Pocket 4K or the RED KOMODO 6K! The underslung battery orientation allows the battery to be positioned beneath the drone frame. The bottom-mounted battery provides an improved center of gravity, better stability, and enhanced maneuverability for optimal performance and control during flights.

The QAV-Pro 5” X8 Expansion Kit is generally a solid piece of hardware. The carbon plate is well made and feels durable. However, the overall value is questionable, considering that the kit is essentially just a single carbon plate at a fairly high price point. A power distribution board is included, but it’s not really usable. The QAV-Pro 5” frame doesn’t offer any practical mounting holes near the main power path, and there’s no installation guidance provided. I also couldn’t find any documentation or mounting instructions online, which is disappointing. In the end, the board can’t be mounted in a meaningful way, so adding it to the kit doesn’t bring any functional benefit. The LiPo mounting plate is extremely heavy for what it is. With the rubber pad and TPU parts it comes in at roughly 90 g, which is far more weight than necessary for a simple battery plate, and there are definitely lighter ways to achieve the same functionality. Overall, it’s a decent extension kit, but due to the missing documentation, the unusable PDB, and the unnecessarily heavy battery plate, I can’t give it a full 5-star rating.

Really good Upgrade to the QAV-PRO Whoop to fly heavier Setups while having some redundant Safety as well. Quality and Design is super nice. The XT90 Mount and Landing Plate makes it super durable on Set. TPU on the Landing Plate was a bit stiff, needed tools to mount those but now its protecting the landing plate, which makes landing on the battery much easier and safer.

I really like the opportunity to get the double power of my favorite QAV Whoop. Now I can easy carry my RED Komodo for over 4min. The quality of the carbon is outstanding! I really like it! Thanks for bringing products like this! <3
