Robust T-style arm design with dual CNC Aluminum mounts that reinforce the structure, octagonal carbon fiber tubes with aluminum mounts that secure them with strong clamping force and hide internal motor and led wiring.

Awesome frame that requires a little patience and finesse

First off, this frame comes with all the screws you'll need and then some. It just takes a little time to visualize exactly what you need to do from the very basic instructions. Definitely watch some videos online to help with assembly. Just seeing it from several different angles helped me more than anything. My biggest pain during the build was definitely getting all the wires through the arms. The 3D printed separators are a nice touch, but those bulky wires made it hard to keep them in place to run the bolts through. Also, my light system doesn't work properly, but I'm definitely not going to take the arms back off to do any work on it. I may order the replacement set from GetFPV one day, but I'm not overly worried about it. I'm not sure if it's my fault or if the module is defective. I really wish the wires were a little smaller and slightly longer. As another reviewer stated, literally 1 inch would have made all the difference. Overall an absolutely great creation. Looking forward to filming with it.

Super useful tool on Set

Hi, my Name is Phil and im one of the Pilots from CINEQUADS. We have been in the urgent need to have a reliable and easy to use tool on set for a while. We have spent countless hours evaluating what we need in this product to make it one of the best on the market. The incredible design of the arms and the top mounted battery makes it so easy to use on set. The super high position of the VTX Antennas gives you great range since nothing is blocked by the big Cinema camera body. We have been super happy with it and can't wait to see what YOU can do with it! We are also building a 12s 11 inch Version right now to even push this great frame design even more =)
Incredible Platform, a Couple Small Quirks

Overall, we are really impressed with this frame. It's extremely rigid, a well thought out design and straight out of the gate it flys pretty well. Of course, you need to tune it in order to maximize performance, especially on the pitch axis. Is it a challenge to build? Absolutely, but this this isn't your typically quad or even your typical cinelifter. It was designed with the intentions of being used on sets and as such, needs to not only perform well but look professional to bring directors and everyone on set peace of mind. Nobody wants to be the guy with wires sticking out everywhere, zip ties and double sided tape holding components in place. As ridiculous as it may sound to some, a cinelifter such as this is can be quite dangerous on a shoot in the wrong hands. With that, safety is of the upmost importance and having a build that keeps everything tidy is a requirement in my opinion. The only part of the design I'm not the biggest fan of is the camera mounting plate. For us, something that would accept an industry standard Manfrotto plate would be more ideal. We currently use Z Cam and Komodo's for our shoots and mounting the Z Cam isn't as secure as the Komodo. We were told that's because the mounting plate was designed specifically for the Komodo, yet, in all the advertising material there are many cutouts in the camera mounting plate to accommodate other cameras. We'll personally be fitting our lifter with a Manfrotto quick release plate to better fit our workflow on set to completely eliminate this issue. With all that being said, it's an incredible platform and if you're serious about getting into the world of cinelifters, this is one of, if not the best option available today.
