It was easy to assemble, I,m not fond of double back tape holding parts together but I did use the tape I flew it with a 3 cell lipo, it flies rather fast but it is controllable, make sure you balance it on the balance points I was well satisfied with the model, I would not recommend it for someone learning to fly

Apparently they have discontinued the kopilot and the vc400 camera that was made to go in the plane, I bought because I thought it would be and easy and intro level to get into fpv flying, but trying to find a work around has been difficult and is requiring lost of soldering, there is limit videos on YouTube that are for beginners

I bought the Dart 250g for my son as Christmas present along with the ZOHD Kopilot. I settled on the Dart because of the many reviews here and throughout the internet stating the Dart was a very stable plane, great for beginners. I chose the PNP version because he is new to the hobby and I wanted to minimize the amount of time I needed to devote to helping him get it setup. The ESC was wired to the motor incorrectly so the propeller spun in the wrong direction. The manual is two sheets with information presented in a non-linear fashion. A 2S battery was purchased according to recommendations, which I found out creates a hard-to-launch plane because of lack of power. All three of these factors have yielded a very unsatisfactory beginner experience. So far, three trips to the field to fly that have netted about 4 seconds and 80 feet of cumulative flight time and distance. I haven't given up on the plane, but it's not great for beginners that so many reviews and videos would suggest. Hundreds of pages of forums and hours of youtube videos since Christmas have netted a really cool bedroom decoration that will hopefully fly in the next couple of weekends.

Great little plane. Not near as tough as I would have liked. The elevons hinge (thin foam) in my case failed during flight causing a completely uncontrollable crash. Best solution I have found is to replace that thin foam with a bit of tape to act as the hinge.
A quality plane with a flaw out of the box

This plane is of good quality for the price, but after I built it up, it kept lawn darting into the ground after every launch. I needed to add washers to the bottom two screws for the motor to adjust the thrust angle. It adjusted it about 2 degrees, but it made the world of difference. It launches great now, and it flies pretty well. Big battery compartment which is great. 40m flight time with 2 18650s.
