Lumenier 3K Carbon Fiber Sheet - 4mm Thick (400x500mm)
A 400x500mm sized sheet of premium Lumenier 3K Carbon Fiber in a matte finish.
About this Product
Lumenier premium carbon fiber is known for it's extremely high quality, durability and beautiful finish. Now you can cut your own parts out of the exact same carbon fiber that is used in popular Lumenier air frames like the QAV-XS, QAV-SKITZO, QAV-250 and more. Each carbon fiber sheet goes through a meticulous QC process ensuring that there are no flaws in any sheet that is sold.
These high quality carbon fiber sheets come in various thicknesses, made from 100%, 3K plain weave, carbon fiber and finished with a matte surface on both sides. Unlike many low cost carbon sheets that are made by pressing two outer skins of carbon fiber over a carbon and resin core, these plates are made with layered sheets of carbon fiber and resin, making them the same strength all the way through.
Whether you're making your own drone frames, car chassis, firewalls, bulkheads or any other custom designs that require high strength, lightweight material, these quality carbon fiber sheets are more than up to the task.
Even though Lumenier carbon fiber is among the highest quality carbon fiber, it is competitively priced, making it cost effective and affordable to you the customer. Many sources of carbon fiber of similar quality can cost up to 2x the amount!
These sheets come in a large 400x500mm sheet size, big enough to yield up to 6x standard 5" quadcopter airframe bodies on average
*When cutting please protect your lungs and airways by using an appropriate protective mask.

Great CF; holy splinters, Batman!
Israel S.Verified buyer
So the CF is great - no denying that! Main issue I have with the panels I received, and this may be batch-specific and I've actually been purchasing Lumenier because of *not* having to deal with this on the last dozen or so orders - on both panels I received there are two 500mm sides which are isotropic, in the direction of the edge, and heavily frayed - so basically massive splinter heaven; and not only are they attached to the sheet, many broke off during shipping and upon opening the box spilled onto my carpeted office floor - so now it's running shoes with integrated rock plates in the office for the next few months until the shoes or the sides of my feet have caught all of them. So, that said - it is simply one of the accepted hazards of working with prefab (or even prepreg) carbon fiber, and you just live with it - but I've really liked not having to deal with it since switching to Lumenier CF and paying the extra 20% or so to get smooth sides and edges.
