About this Product

APC preserves a close rapport with the competitive aviation community to benefit from the technical interchange that is so important to improving designs. There is a continuous evolution in aircraft design and engine performance. Consequently, propeller designs must continuously evolve to keep pace with changing technologies. APC excels at providing the model aviation community the right propellers for a wide range of applications.

APC, usually associated with the quality and performance of their model aircraft props, has been making a name for themselves in the multi-rotor industry. The long fiber composite material used in their propellers is both stiffer and stronger than glass filled nylon. The additional stiffness is beneficial to the control of vibration resonance response.

As always, APC propellers are proudly manufactured in California using domestic materials.

Great props

Can't go wrong with the APC props, they're strong, well made, and I've never had a problem with them.

Polycarbonate! not nylon/glass composite

_n

I was told by APC that these and all "BD" models are polycarbonate (PC) even though the website did not report such. I flew these and the 5.1g weight really helps them spin up faster. They were relatively smoother compared to another 6" i've been flying, but also have an ever-so-slightly less thrust in high wind, but nothing that would make me feel negative about them at all. They are shaped closer to a hurricane-style prop than a traditional prop. i do plan to fly them a bit to get a better idea of the capabilities. They hit a bunch of field grass and even took a tumble without denting, bending or chipping; however, i have not "crashed" them yet. if you search youtube for "APC BD6X4.2E-3-B4" you will a too long 13 minute video with a prop comparison at the end.
